Los Angeles became a flashpoint of national attention as protests escalated in response to ICE raids targeting immigrant neighborhoods. The raids, carried out early morning, led to dozens of arrests and triggered widespread fear among minority communities.
By evening, thousands gathered downtown to protest. The situation intensified as police deployed tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse crowds. Journalists on the scene reported clashes, while city officials issued a mandatory curfew across affected areas.
